Message from the Principal
Dear Grunsky Elementary Parents, Students, and Staff,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! I hope you had a restful and rejuvenating summer. I am incredibly excited to welcome you all back as we continue growing both academically and as a close-knit community this year.
This year, our core focus is on teamwork and collaboration. Our teachers are working closely in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to design targeted, high-quality instruction tailored to meet the needs of every student. We are also building on last year's progress by continuing our dedication to writing proficiency across all subject areas.
To ensure everyone feels welcome, safe, and valued, we utilize PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) strategies. The framework help us foster an environment of safety, respect, and deep belonging for all students and staff members.
Strong partnerships with families drive our collective success. Please stay connected with us via ParentSquare and ParentVue. I also invite you to join us for our Parent Coffee Hour, which takes place on the last Tuesday of every month.

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2026-2027! Espero que hayan tenido un verano reparador. Me siento increíblemente emocionada de darles la bienvenida de nuevo mientras continuamos creciendo tanto en el ámbito académico como en nuestra comunidad este año.
Este año, nuestro enfoque principal es el trabajo en equipo y la colaboración. Nuestros maestros trabajarán en estrecha colaboración en Comunidades Profesionales de Aprendizaje (PLC) para diseñar una enseñanza adaptada y de alta calidad para cada estudiante. Además, continuaremos con el progreso del año pasado al mantener nuestra dedicación al fortalecimiento de la escritura en todas las materias.
Para asegurar que todos se sientan bienvenidos, seguros y valorados, implementamos estrategias de PBIS (Intervenciones y Soporte para el Comportamiento Positivo). Estos marcos nos ayudan a promover un entorno de seguridad, respeto y un profundo sentido de pertenencia para todos los estudiantes y el personal.
